I was confused, yes.

In fact, no:
container is mkv, ok

Audio in the mkv is:
AUDIO: 48000 Hz, 2 ch, 16 bit (0x10), ratio:
16000->192000 (128,0 kbit)
Selected audio codec: [mp3] afm:mp3lib (mp3lib MPEG
layer-2, layer-3)

And video in it is:
opening shared obj '/usr/local/lib/codecs/drv4.so.6.0'
Selected video codec: [rv40] vfm:realvid (Linux
RealPlayer 9 RV40 decoder)

The realplayer video codec is slow?

already done.

done that too (and the echo 1024 too)

It's on a nfs server. But I partially solve the
problem. Nfs server server was too heavily loaded.
Solved that, this is better, but I still have message
"your system is too slow"
(and yes, I use the -cache 8192)

How?
cat /proc/mtrr
reg00: base=0x00000000 ( 0MB), size= 256MB:
write-back, count=1
reg01: base=0x10000000 ( 256MB), size= 64MB:
write-back, count=1
reg02: base=0xe4000000 (3648MB), size= 32MB:
write-combining, count=2
reg03: base=0xe0000000 (3584MB), size= 64MB:
write-combining, count=1
