I am using the mingw build from the mplayer site - quite surprised it
isn't built with that option. I suppose I could try building my own
under cygwin with that enabled (assuming it won't work with mingw).
Anyone got a mingw build with large files enabled they could mail me?
The reason for doing all this is I am using a Windows based PVR
(SageTV) and there is much discussion about the best way of
re-encoding the recorded files to something smaller - I am afraid
Linux is out of the question :-( I don't really want to have to use
cygwin either, but I guess I am all ready using Perl, so it is an
option.
