Hello,

I downloaded and compiled today's CVS snapshot on my Mac running
Tiger (10.4.1) with gcc 4.0, and although mplayer seems to be working
fine, mencoder does not appear to be working. Whenever I use
mencoder, I receive the following messages:

$mencoder File.mov -oac mp3lame -ovc lavc -o File.avi

The AVI file produced is without video, and the audio is completely
distorted. I noticed in the messages above, it says that it is
ignoring the video stream, but mplayer plays the source file
(including the video stream) without any problems. Is there a way to
stop it from ignoring the video, and if so, will it also stop the
audio distortion?

Thank you in advance for any help,
Sean
