[MPlayer-users] Mplayer font issue

Dear friends:

I had written earlier that Mplayer just spins in the Debian 3.1 KDE taskbar. 
Ignore that. I forgot all about gmplayer, which was also installed. With 
"gmplayer", Mplayer launches perfectly except for a font issue.

All 17 mplayer files were installed via the Debian source repository so that 
must include, I suppose, the font files. The codecs were all installed 
in /usr/lib/win32 (using the ALL package). 

I would appreciate your help with this last stage of the install. Looking 
forward to viewing my movies in your great movie player.
