My goal was clear. Well I supposed so.
I repeat:
Question is: can anyone tell me of a Web site where I can find good
advices to encode anime with mencoder (mpeg4). Man page of MPlayer is
really not enough.
I am not a great specialist of encoding although I can understand. Thus
before asking stupid questions I wanted to read some written tutorial or
equivalent if you know of any. Right now I am not too unhappy with
encoding movies from DVD or from a TV signal (with lavcopts). Encoding
anime is for my son. I had some good luck with "Princess Mononoke" (I
love!) but with VHS records of "Saint Seiya" series I have less luck
(some images are staying too long thus a bad sequencing if I explain it
well).
If such tutorials (specific for anime) does not exist, please excuse my
stupid question and don't read the above.
And I don't have xvid installed.
