i'm using mplayer 1.0pre6a on linux 2.6.10 + udev and have
compiled tdfxfb framebuffer driver into kernel. i have added
these parametrs to kernel video=tdfxfb:1280x1024-32 at 100 and
everything is ok, i have nice penguin logo while loading and
100Hz refresh rate on console.
i have compiled mplayer with gcc-3.4.3 with oprions:
./configure --prefix=/usr --enable-tdfxfb --disable-vidix
and when i run
mplayer -vo tdfxfb movie.avi
nothing happens, the program can't initialize video.

can anybody help me with this ?
i tried other boot options like 800x600-16 at 85 etc, but nothing
helps. also in kernel i have enabled/disabled tdfxfb acceleration
(but with acceleration it's really fast) to see whats going on,
nothing helps me.
is it a tdfxfb bug or mplayer bug ?
how to solve it ?
thanks for your help!
