I would like to extract the Hungarian subtitle from a dvd. I was reading
the manual all day, but it doesn't work.

If I want to play it:
mplayer -v -alang en -slang hu dvd://1

Reading disc structure, please wait...
There are 30 titles on this DVD.
There are 38 chapters in this DVD title.
There are 1 angles in this DVD title.
DVD successfully opened.

Selected DVD audio channel: 128 language: en
Selected DVD subtitle channel: 1 language: hu
DVD Seek! lba=0xD8C cell=0 packs: 0xD8C-0x2705

Let's extract the subtitle:
mencoder -oac copy -ovc copy -endpos 0:02:00 -alang en dvd://1
- -vobsubout test -vobsuboutid hu -vobsuboutindex 0 -sid 1

Then I get: test.avi, test. idx, test.sub

The first problem is, that the test.sub is 0 byte long (???)
(Approximately from 50 sec. there are subtitles!)

When I try to play it:
mplayer -slang hu test.avi -vobsub test -vobsubid 0

Playing test.avi.
