[MPlayer-users] Problems with srt subtitles display

Hi, when i try to see an avi file with srt subtitles, i have problems
with the file codification. I am from Argentina and the subtitles are
in spanish. Some characters are bad display,
how can i configure mplayer to display correctly this characters or in
which codification i have to save my srt file.

Lo escribo en castellano para explicarlo mejor. Las letras con
acentos, o los signos de admiración o pregunta iniciales, los
reemplaza con cualquier otro caracter. Debe ser algo de cómo toma la
codificación del archivo, porque el archivo está bien escrito.
