[MPlayer-users] start playback from a specific frame

Hello,

I have googled a lot but is unable to find a solution, is it possible to
start playback of a DVD from a specific frame number? it is possible to
start it seek to a specific time with -ss <time> e.g. -ss 480 to seek
480 seconds into the file or -ss 1:10 to seek 1 minute and 10 seconds
into the file, but i miss the posibility to seek x frames into the file
e.g. -ss 3200f (or something like that)

Am I missing something? 

Would it be possible in mencoder too?
