CDs can only handle uncompressed PCM (WAV), so no, you can't reduce the
filesize. If you did, it wouldn't play on any CD players.

You could possibly edit out a few seconds of silence at the
beginning/end of each song.  Or you can overburn the CD, which will give
you up to approx  820MB, rather than the standard 795MB (on a
700MB/80Min CD-R).
