	The thought was to avoid unnecessary chroma conversions.  The 
	source data is 4:1:1 (DV) and that's what the final result will
	be - so going thru yuv4mpeg would mean a 4:1:1 -> 4:2:0 -> 4:1:1
	roundtrip at least.

	A stream option in -vo pnm would end up doing, I believe,  a
	4:1:1 -> RGB -> 4:1:1 which would be less damaging to the data.
