[MPlayer-users] Is the 10dB boost applied for AC3 playback?

Hi,

Does Mplayer take care of the 10dB boost required for the LFE channel 
in a 5.1 mix when decoding to 6 analog outputs, or does this 10dB boost 
need to be applied elsewhere?
