[MPlayer-users] Mplayer exits prematurely when playing this audio file from avoicemail sytem NOVIRUS

Thanks for a response - I was beginning to think that everyone was
ignoring me :)

If I try it with -ao pcm, it does not play

FWIW, I have just downloaded avifile from sourceforge and compiled it
and it plays the files OK.

Avifile seems to use the same codecs as mplayer so the problem should be
fixable

I am afraid that I am not a programmer so the rest goes over my head.

I can certainly perform whatever testing is needed.
