[MPlayer-users] can't get rtc to work

Linux RTC init error in ioctl (rtc_irqp_set 1024): Inappropriate ioctl for
Try adding "echo 1024 > /proc/sys/dev/rtc/max-user-freq" to your system
startup scripts.

Thanks! Changed the permissions first setting users as group (of which I
am a member), then making read/writable to world, but still no luck!
