Actually I guess the problem is that it uses the binary codecs, and
probably just like the windows ones the need a special function call at
the end of the stream to give out any buffered data.
Unfortunately in both cases this isn't implemented yet, and implementing
things for binary-only drivers with proprietary APIs isn't fun.
