[MPlayer-users] Encoding TS/TP file issues

Greetings all,

Im trying to encode using mencoder TS/TP files which have been captured from my
HDTV card.

First pass video encoding works perfectly... no errors, and the output avi file
looks ok (for a first pass).

On the second pass though near the end of encoding (ie, near 100%), i get a lot
of "Cannot sync MAD frame" errors.
Mencoder continues encoding while spitting out lots of this message until it
finishes encoding.
The resulting avi file though does not seem to have an index.

Has anyone else had this problem, or know how to fix it?
