[MPlayer-users] Last frame persist?

Hi

Is there a way to have mplayer leave the last frame up until another
instance of mplayer is invoked?

trying to loop mplayer video seamlessly - right now if I use the -loop
option or use a script that calls mplayer over and over, there's this little
flash of the desktop while mplayer closes out and totally reopens again - is
there a way to not have it do that?  like, for example, the thing I said
above, where it just leaves that last frame up?
