Hi, I was following <http://www.mplayerhq.hu/DOCS/README> when, after a
successful config,
'make' started looping

> D_FILE_OFFSET_BITS=64 -D_LARGEFILE_SOURCE -D_GNU_SOURCE -c -o mjpeg.o
> mjpeg.c

As far as I am aware, my pointer is

> Section "InputDevice"
> Identifier "Configured Mouse"
> Driver "mouse"
> Option "CorePointer"
> Option "Device" "/dev/psaux"
> Option "Protocol" "ImPS/2"
> Option "Emulate3Buttons" "true"
> Option "ZAxisMapping" "4 5"

and

>ldd ./mplayer
>
&

>fakeroot debian/rules binary
>

did not change anything.

Can anyone recomment a solution ? Otherwise I'll go back to

apt-get install mplayer-386 mplayer-fonts mozilla-mplayer mplayer-mozilla

(redundant ?)

and give up the idea of compiling.
