[MPlayer-users] encoding vobsub subtitles into the movie

Hi!

Is there a way to encode vobsub Subtitles into the movie? I have an .avi 
and the necessary vobsub files (.idx, .ifo, .sub). Mplayer shows the 
subtitles but when I try to get them encoded into the picture with 
'mencoder in.avi -vobsub whatever ...', mencoder says "vobsub is not an 
MEncoder option".
