[MPlayer-users] Colors in subtitles

Hello,
A friend of mine asked me to ask here if it would be possible to make
MPlayer ignore color codes in subtitles.

Let's say we have subtitles like this.

[1649][1676]Kazdy cie pokocha,|kiedy zobaczy twoje prawdziwe oblicze.
[1677][1720]To, ktore bylo w tobie przez caly czas.
[1803][1858]Nikt nie zapomni twojego|ostatniego roku w szkole sredniej.
[2001][2100]{C:$aaccff}Tlumaczenie: Roman
[2201][2300]{C:$aaccff}Napisy: Justen|{C:$aaccff}Wersja: 1.3
[2301][2380]{C:$aaccff}Muminki 4x03

(Don't worry about meaning, it's Polish ;)
But the {C:$xxxxxx} gets (by some players) interpreted as color change.
Problem is MPlayer doesn't know this and renders the codes themselves,
which looks horrible. Question I was asked to forward was to make
MPlayer ignore this things.
