different people have different recommendations. if you have truly
interlaced material mixed in, you probably want/need filmdint, but imo
the output for interlaced material will be fairly ugly. if you don't
need to worry about that and all your stuff is truely telecined
progressive frames, pullup should be a lot better because it will
never deinterlace (it just matches fields).

and then, some people even still prefer using ivtc or detc for certain
source material that the newer filters don't like, but imo this is a
rare occurrance nowadays.
