[MPlayer-users] av-sync issues with dxr3-output and non-mpeg1/2 content

Hi!

I'm able to play MPEG1 and MPEG2 content with mplayer using dxr3-output, and
it works well. The av-sync is good.

But, when I try to play MPEG4 or any other format that can't be displayed
directly and needs to be re-encoded to MPEG1 on the fly, the av-sync is
broken.. sometimes the difference in audio and video might be many seconds!

I'm launching mplayer like this:
mplayer -vo dxr3:prebuf:sync -framedrop -mc 5 file.foo

I'm using 1 GHz Celeron, and the CPU usage is not at 100% .. so it seems
that there are some av-sync-issues in the mplayer dxr3-output-plugin..

both audio and video are coming out from dxr3.

Is there something I could try? I'm using latest (cvs) drivers (em8300) for
dxr3. I'm also using couple of weeks old CVS version of mplayer.

Thanks!
