I have the spdif digital out working with my MAudio Revolution 7.1
card. What I am trying to do now is to get analog audio signal
simultaneously so I can feed it to a VCR. What changes should I make
to my asound.conf file, so i can get audio from the analog connections as well?

I already looked at the documentation for asoundrc file, but I cant
seem to figure it out.. any help will be appreciated.. Here are my
specs:

[root at htpc etc]# cat /etc/asound.conf
pcm.!default {
    type plug
    slave.pcm "hw:0,1" (this is the spdif device on the sound card)
}

[root at htpc etc]# cat /proc/asound/cards
0 [Revolution71   ]: ICE1724 - M Audio Revolution-7.1
                  M Audio Revolution-7.1 at 0xe400, irq 5

[root at htpc etc]# aplay -l
