./configure --help | grep -i gcc
  --cc=COMPILER          use this C compiler to build MPlayer [gcc]
  --host-cc=COMPILER     use this C compiler to build apps needed for
the build process [gcc]  --disable-gcc-checking   disable gcc version
checking [enable]
