-lavcopts vcodec=snow:vstrict=-1:vqscale=6

i'm just guessing on the qscale=6... there's no rate control yet so
you'll have to pick a qscale that gives you a satisfactory bitrate.
strict=-1 is needed to allow experimental codecs to be used (actually
it allows non-standards-compliant stuff, and since the standard isn't
complete yet, any snow file is non-standards-compliant :)).
