[MPlayer-users] Higher playback speed with vf=volnorm and audio format unsupported by volnorm

Hello,

when playing an AVI file with

AUDIO: 11024 Hz, 1 ch, 8 bit (0x8), ratio: 11024->11024 (88,2 kbit)
Selected audio codec: [pcm] afm:pcm (Uncompressed PCM)

And -vf volnorm, it says:

Checking audio filter chain for 11024Hz/1ch/8bit -> 11024Hz/2ch/8bit...
[libaf] Reinitialization did not work, audio filter 'volnorm' returned error code -2
Error at audio filter chain pre-init!

and then it plays the file with higher playback speed (twice, maybe even
faster). CPU usage does not go to 100%, so it is limited by something...

As an example, this movie can be used:

(I'm using latest CVS of mplayer)

Thanks,
