[MPlayer-users] how can I get mencoder result in a perl gui

Hello,

	I'm trying to get a progressbar showing the encoder progression.

	I've made a program which read transcode output in a fifo

  		Transcode ..... --print_status 10 ...  > /tmp/fifo


	The --print-status option limits data sent to fifo, I believe mencoder gives 
too much datas ....

	Is there a way to do that with mencoder ?
