[MPlayer-users] Problems with mplayer Suse 9.1 and movies with mp3 Audio

Hello List,

i had compiled mplayer (pre4 release) on a Suse 9.0 and 9.1. system, but 
i have problems with moviefiles who has mp3 Audio.

Mplayer plays this movies, but the sound is very terrible. It plays a
distorted audio signal.

I had talked to someone, who sayed that this problem is based on the gcc 
which suse use (3.3.3). And i should try gcc 2.9x. Is this right or is 
there another solution for this problem?
