[MPlayer-users] inverse telecine fails

Hello,

I have some VOBs (ripped off a DVD), NTSC animated content. I assume
they're telecined, as I know the original was on cinema. Yeah. yeah.
Japanese :)

I use mplayer 1.0pre4.

WIth both -vop pp=ivtc and -vop pp=detc , there is noticeable
interlacing ("comb") on fast moving parts!

Is there a way around this?

If I should supply an example -- how do I cut a piece, like 10 seconds,
out of mthe middle of a VOB? SO I could upload it somewhere.
