[MPlayer-users] Error building mplayer-common-1.0pre4-2.i386.rpm

All,

I've just installed Whitebox Enterprise on my Dell laptop with 
ATIRage128 and wanted to install the Mplayer......

....as a lightweight user downloaded the following rpm files from 
http://ftp.icm.edu.pl/pub/linux/mplayer-rpms/mplayer.html  :

mplayer-common-1.0pre4-2.i386.rpm
mplayer-gui-1.0pre4-2.i386.rpm
mplayer-skin-default-1.0-2.noarch.rpm
lame-libs-3.96-1.i386.rpm

Ran:> rpm -Uvh mplayer-common-1.0pre4-2.i386.rpm 
mplayer-gui-1.0pre4-2.i386.rpm mplayer-skin-default-1.0-2.noarch.rpm 
lame-libs-3.96-1.i386.rpm


And I get the following error:

mplayer = 2:1.0pre4 is needed by mplayer-common-1.0pre4-2

Has anyone had this message and managed to get it working?  If so what 
is the magic incantation?
