Hi Rich,
I have given the command line above actually:
mencoder -oac copy -ovc copy -o out.avi damaged.avi
sometimes addeded -idx, -forceidx
mencoder outputs a file that grows and grows in size.
I stopped it at 40GB.
damaged.avi is 700MB (650MB data, beginning 10MB is
not available while end chunk is available). It is an
xvid file. 576x320, 25FPS, 977 kpbs, vbr mp3 audio,
128kpbs.
