Hi,

I created MEncodeMe, a frontEnd for Mencoder aiming to make the process of 
creating VCDs/SVCDs/KVCDs/KSVCDs/KDVDs as easy as possible. Some features:

* Configurable presets which can be customizable
* Automatic resize calculations taking Aspect Ratio in account
* Automatic bitrate calculation
* Automatic loading of source parameters for calculations (AVI/VOB)
* Preview of filters/crop/resize options using Mplayer
