[MPlayer-users] Frame-by-frame scrubbing

A bunch of techs from the 3D animation industry were sitting
around shooting shit the other day, and we all agreed that a
movie player under Linux that could do frame-by-frame video
scrubbing would be really cool.  It's the one thing really
holding Linux back from being used on animation desktops.  The
studios that have switched to Linux desktops have had to use the
Quicktime player via Codeweavers software for this, which is
pretty irritating.

Any chance Mplayer could/would support frame-by-frame scrubbing?
