(second time post - maybe stopped by an anti-spam tool ? )
Hello,

I used under MS win PC (years ago:p) a great tool :
streambox_vcr_suite_2.0 (I can give an http address if you want to download and test ).

It helped me to record rtsp or pnm audio streams in a few minutes (5'-10') when it
took 1 hour or 2 hours to listen to it with realplayer - and even with
mplayer.

I record stream with -dumpstream option with mplayer but wonder if there is an option
to catch files at a high speed like with the win soft "stream box vcr suite 2,0" (the turbo
version).

Actual command I type :
"mplayer -nocache -dumpstream -dumpfile \\
/home/gma/culture/test/documents/10a_tout_arrive/arrive_b_20040421me.rm \\
rtsp://a624.v107961082547063.c10796.g.vr.akamaistream.net/ondemand/7/624/10796/1082547063/\\
francecult.download.akamai.com/10796/france_culture/TOUTARRIVEB/TOUTARRIVEB200404211245.rm"

But it takes almost one hour to download while I know I used to spend 5 minutes to get the same.

Thanx in advance for a kind reply,

Dionysos

PS : for developpers
