[MPlayer-users] -ao alsa1x feature or bug?

Hi,
Yep, that's what I do and I've not noticed a difference between that and running it without dmixer.
Adar, sorry I misunderstood your question, can't say I know the answer and I hope somebody knows the solution.

do you use this?
i tried it, but the video playback wasn't that smooth anymore....
it's hard to notice, but after some 'training' i could identify in 99%
of cases whether i am running alsa:dmix or alsa.
