[MPlayer-users] mplayer and ftp

hi
for some days (i don t know exactly because i was in holiday :-) ) i can t
use ftp with mplayer
when i built mplayer ftp is enable but when i try to play a stream on
ftp it tells me : Unknown protocol 'ftp'
in the man page lines with mplayer ftp://... are missing...
so how can i handle video on ftp without using wget ?
