[MPlayer-users] mplayerplug-in not working in RH9

Not sure where to post this, but I downloaded the RH9 mplayeplug-in rpm. 
After installing it, the about:plugins page looks good, but whenever I 
try to open an appropriate source, the mozilla just aborts with no error 
messages.

I have mozilla 1.4.2 and MPlayer 1.0pre2-RPM-3.2.

I note that the rpm only installs 
/usr/lib/mozilla/plugins/mplayerplug-in.so, there is no 
/usr/lib/mozilla/components/mplayerplug-in.xpt as noted in the source 
compile install web page
