[MPlayer-users] Out of sync audio on second encoding

Hi,

I capture some TV shows with high quality (at least for my machine)
encoding options. At first I capture the audio with -oac copy. So I can
concentrate on a good video quality. To shrink the size of the file I
try encoding the file a second time with

$ mencoder -ovc copy -oac mp3lame ...

The audio gets out of sync. I guess it's a second behind the picture.
What is the problem and what can I try to do?
