[MPlayer-users] DVD plays too fast

I'm use mplayer 1.0 pre 3 on a RedHat 7.3 laptop.

I've tried three different commercial DVD's, and each shows the same problem, 
play back is too fast, both sound and video. I can't speculate how much faster 
it is, but probably not more than twice.

The odd thing is that Ogle can't seem to play the same disks fast enough, 
including one I had watched previously just fine. This suggests that something 
has happened to the machine in the meantime, but I can't imagine what.
