Hi,

sorry to tell, but that doesn't help either.
I tried that with latest CVS-version and 1.0pre3, subtitles just don't
disappear. Next subtitle still paints over the previous one, resulting
in a mess after a few subtitles.

I also dumped the subtitles (vobsubout, I RTFM) from the DVD, but I
haven't found out yet how to use vobsub's with mencoder (is it even
possible?), so I'm still unable to backup DVD's to SVCD with rendered
subtitles within.
