Hi all!
I recently replaced my 64MB Radeon8500 with a 16MB Matrox G450 card,
and got some problems:
1. Mplayer always crashes on playing "large" video clips(640x480) with
a "BadAlloc (insufficient resources for operation)" error. I noticed
some similar bug reports on RH's bugzilla:
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=126307
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/bugzilla/long_list.cgi?buglist=80535
2. Mplayer can play some "small" video clips(352x288, in my case) when
I first login into the system. But after some time, mplayer will crash
w/ the same problem.
3. In above case, -vo x11 always works fine.
I'm using:
Gentoo w/gcc 3.3.3, kernel 2.6.6
kernel built-in driver w/DRI enabled
xorg 6.7.0
Athlon xp 1600+
MPlayer dev-CVS-040625-06:58-3.3.3
Thanks for your help.

- MPlayer crashed. This shouldn't happen.
It can be a bug in the MPlayer code _or_ in your drivers _or_ in your
gcc version. If you think it's MPlayer's fault, please read
DOCS/HTML/en/bugreports.html and follow the instructions there. We can't and
won't help unless you provide this information when reporting a possible bug.
