Try adding -cache 32768 for stream cache. The cd may be slow and the
jumpness to cause masive slowdown. Also check the cd tuning (well
such resolution is supposed to be played even on 1x CD, but who knows)

As another possible solution try to play without sound. The problem may be
in the audio card driver.
