[MPlayer-users] xvid and mencoder - corrupt headers?

I keep getting corrupt headers in avi's encoded with mencoder and xvid. As far as I could determine, it happens with different settings and I couldn't find any pattern yet. It does seem to happen after about 1 Gig file size, but that is not always the case.

Anyone else experience this?

BTW I'm using the latest versions of mencoder and xvid 1.0.0
