[MPlayer-users] Problem with SB Audigy after AC3 playback

Hello!

I have the following problem:

After looking for  a way to play a divx movie with AC3 sound using 
mplayer, I got the suggestion to use the following parameters:

mplayer -ac hwac3 -ao alsa9:hw:0,3

This worked, the AC3 audio was passed through the digital-out of my SB 
Audigy soundcard to be decoded by my sound system.
The problem is that I can't play any other soundfiles anymore. If I try 
to play an mp3 (even with other programs) for example,
nothing happens. I don't get any errors. When I disable the digital-out 
and use the analog-out or play AC3 soundfiles/movies (with digital-out
enabled), it works fine though.
Therefore I think that somehow something was not reset to "normal" 
output after using pass-though for AC3.

I'm using MPlayer 1.0pre3-3.3.2
