[MPlayer-users] Error in xvid?

Had a movie that I whanted to see, it was in xvid format. But with 
ffmpeg's there was a lot framedrop:

"vop not coded 0,1 A-V:  0,065 ct:  0,008    3/  3   0%  0%  0,0% 0 0 0%"

and if I try with xvid's latest codec (1.0 RC2) I only got:

"Forced video codec: xvid
Requested video codec family [xvid] (vfm=xvid) not available (enable it 
at compilation)
Cannot find codec matching selected -vo and video format 0x44495658."

Anyone have any idea?
