I tried playing your mms file as requested
the last seconds played as click below now)

also tried using several different audio outputs
-ao sdl
-ao oss
-ao alsa1x

with same result

downloaded file with mmsclient and played from disk using mplayer same results.

My CVS builds also include the source code for libavcodec and libavformat
directories copied from the ffmpeg CVS unsure if this has a difference.
