[MPlayer-users] mplayer crashes when using wmv9dmod.dll

I've tried to view the file
http://nwdownloads.bioware.com/neverwinternights/movies/cep_trailer_hi.wmv
using todays (20040418) snapshot of MPlayer on my dual PIII running
Fedora Core 1 (with some packages from the devel version) and I'm
getting a crash.
I'm attaching the suggested info from the core. Do note that there seem
to be a timing issue involved. I've seen it crash on line line 315 in
ext.c as well and sometimes when running it with strace it works all the
way until you exit the movie when it crashes. I'm using the wmv9dmod.dll
which I've found at
http://www1.mplayerhq.hu/MPlayer/releases/codecs/extralite.tar.bz2

Also below is the requested system information...
