is it possible to capture and encode directly to VCD or a VCD-compatibile mpeg 
files? 


when i use the mpeg codec, the file is not accepted by the CD burning 
software. i've heard it might be the sound issue (mp2) as well as the 
resolution problem. 

from the other hand, the scripts divx2vcd-new or divx2kvcd-new now use mplayer 
to produce VCD compatibile mpeg files (the old ones used transcode). can this 
feature be used for capturing? can anybody paste some config for this?
