Hi everybody !
I'm running under Debian Sarge and I have some difficulties to
compile MPlayer with XviD support:
I compiled xvidcore with "fakeroot debian/rules binary" and then
installed the resulting paquages (libxvidcore4_1.0-0cvs_i386.deb and
libxvidcore4-dev_1.0-0cvs_i386.deb)
Here are the installed files :

$ dpkg -L libxvidcore4
/.
/usr
/usr/lib
/usr/lib/libxvidcore.so.4.0
/usr/share
/usr/share/doc
/usr/share/doc/libxvidcore4
/usr/share/doc/libxvidcore4/changelog.gz
/usr/share/doc/libxvidcore4/AUTHORS
/usr/share/doc/libxvidcore4/README.Debian
/usr/share/doc/libxvidcore4/copyright
/usr/share/doc/libxvidcore4/changelog.Debian.gz
/usr/lib/libxvidcore.so.1

$ dpkg -L libxvidcore4-dev
/.
/usr
/usr/lib
/usr/lib/libxvidcore.a
/usr/include
/usr/include/xvid.h
/usr/share
/usr/share/doc
/usr/share/doc/libxvidcore4-dev
/usr/share/doc/libxvidcore4-dev/changelog.gz
/usr/share/doc/libxvidcore4-dev/AUTHORS
/usr/share/doc/libxvidcore4-dev/copyright
/usr/share/doc/libxvidcore4-dev/changelog.Debian.gz
/usr/lib/libxvidcore.so

Unfortunately, I didn't manage to make xvid detected by the MPlayer
configure script.
Here is a sample of the configure.log file:

Result is: no

Thanks in advance... and sorry for my English..
