Ok updated to 0.91. Also loaded "mplayer" as opposed to "gmplayer". 
Discovered that "mplayer" plays the file only once. "gmplayer" still 
goes through it twice. Here is the "gmplayer" terminal output, as 
requested. Note the

"Playing /home/pwalden/LosAltos2NewPortLB.wmv"

twice in the listing below
